A change of responsibility ceremony is a traditional military ceremony rich in symbolism and heritage which reinforces noncommissioned officer authority in the Army and emphasizes their support to the chain of command. The highlight of the ceremony is the passing of colors (the command’s flag), which represents the lineage and honors of the command, in this case, U.S. Army Garrison Fort Eisenhower.

On Tuesday, April 2, the outgoing Fort Eisenhower Garrison Command Sergeant Major, CSM Aaron Rose, will relinquish his duties and responsibilities as he passes the flag to the incoming Fort Eisenhower Garrison Command Sergeant Major, CSM Daniel Durette.

The event will also be live streamed on the Fort Eisenhower Garrison Facebook page when the ceremony commences at approximately 9 a.m.: https://www.facebook.com/forteisenhower
